Rosé Thoughts…
The Divine Prowess Blog
My journey as an artist - Part I: The allure of Hollywood.
The allure of Hollywood began calling to me when I was around 8 years old. My father had passed the year before, and I was spending a lot of time alone. Mum was of course the sole provider now, most of my siblings had moved out, and the ones that remained I did not feel very connected to. I felt very alone in trying to navigate the confusing experience of being a child with a deceased parent.
AMOR FATI Part 2: From Coping to Thriving Healing Tools
In Part 1 of this blog I spoke about some of my struggles with comparison-itis and escaping my reality. Whether or not you have had these same struggles, many of us in the overly-heady Western world could all benefit from soothing our nervous systems, getting out of her heads and grounding into our body.
So, if you’re interested in feeling whole in your body and existence, here are 7 of my favourite “From COPING TO THRIVING healing tools”:
AMOR FATI Part 1: The Antidote to Comparison & Escapism.
Set upon the top of my 2024 Vision Board is my theme intention for the year “Amor Fati” – a Latin phrase and stoic philosophy which can be translated to “love of one’s fate”.
…“My formula for greatness…is amor fati: that one wants nothing to be different, not forward, not backward, not in all eternity. Not merely bear what is necessary, still less conceal it – but love it”.
A woman in full alignment
When she walks in a room, she ignites the space with her centered yet raw authenticity – she is unafraid to take up space, to be seen, to be heard. She has a radiance and regal strength that only comes from someone who has faced and embraced all parts of who she is. She loves, celebrates and accepts every part of herself.
